Our aim is to provide the best possible respite outings and holidays for our clients and our support staff play a key role in achieving this. Through you we enable adults of all abilities to travel and experience a wide range of destinations, events and activities.
Supporter staff provide group and personal support as needed and we usually send two support staff on each of our holidays; more are sent if client needs require it. Our supporters take part in most activities and enable client participation throughout the holiday.
Please get in touch if you have experience of working with adults with physical disabilities. We will also consider applications from people with relevant life experience, including lots of travel.
It is important that you enjoy working as part of a team as well as being able to think on your feet and respond positively to new situations. It is also important for you to have proactive attitude, along with good communication skills, patience and a good sense of humour.
It is preferable that you have a driving license and you will need to be cleared through the PGV (Scotland) or DBS (England) vetting system, depending on your location. We will provide training as required.
